  • There’s been some problems with Skype recently. It happened twice to me in 2 accounts. Skype said on Twitter that it just affects few users. I hope there’s no more disruptions on Skype anymore. Loving it.

    • They made a joke about the disruptions were caused by Google since it happens quite a few times since they bought it. However, I believe it was the case.

  • @Shinigami
I did have the same problem with Skype. All I did was deleting the shared.xml file as recommended on their help page. I think you can give it a try if it happens again.

  • I only have few followers on Twitter. I wonder how people can get thousands of them so easy.

  • Get someone with thousands of followers to tweet about your twitter on their twitter.

  • Skype and Google equals great service and global reach. I never realized that Skype has actually more users/members than Facebook. The way I see it, this is part of the overarching goal of Google to contain the growth of Facebook. We might see the possibility of more online companies acquired by Google and these companies would later on be tied to a new service-oriented social networking site to finally compete against Facebook. It is interesting to watch where this war is going…

  • Wow…$8.5 Billion investment from Microsoft. I just hope that Microsoft made a good financial move on this one. anyway, since it has even more members than Facebook, Microsoft could capitalize on this huge membership for monetization. Go go go, Skype.
