Download Embedded Online Videos

Written by Kevin

Need to download a embedded video clip from one of the popular video sharing networks like YouTube, Daily Motion, Vimeo, Veoh, Google Videos, or MetaCafe? Then you need to check out a Windows program called GotClip. It is your one-click instant download tool that comes without all of those advanced settings and hassles.

GotClip is not just limited to the sites listed above; it will work on almost all flash videos within a webpage. It also can handle multiple videos at once, that way you don’t have to deal with waiting around for one to finish to start another.

Additionally, one of the greatest features of GotClip is its ability to pause a download and then resume it at a later time.

Using GotClip is simple just copy the URL of the video you want to download (ex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHlu8EEoWNI) to the pastebox within GotClip. Hit the ‘Start’ button and you are good to go. In order to pause a video you must first select the video then hit the ‘Pause’ button.

GotClip is available for free on Windows XP/Vista/7, get it here!

UPDATE: Check out a Google Chrome extension that allows you to download videos hosted on Facebook. Go! YouTube Snagger is also a great app for downloading just YouTube videos.
